Peace for future generations

Are you saddened by the violence in the world today? What about right here in our local communities? Around the world and in our own neighbourhoods, individuals, families, and communities desperately need peace.

UFV is currently raising funds to support its new Peace and Conflict Studies (PACS) program. This program will equip students to identify root causes of violence and the skills to effectively address them – skills desperately needed in our world today. In addition to classroom learning, students will gain valuable experience with numerous local organizations.

You can be a part of building peace in your community and beyond. Your support toward the program will help fund a teaching chair to lead key Peace and Conflict Studies courses, engage the community in peace-building work, coordinate student learning, and grow the program.
