On April 3rd, 2024, the Abbotsford Canucks are set to host a unique and spirited event: UFV Night. Organized in collaboration with University of the Fraser Valley (UFV), this night of hockey promises to be more than just a game. On the eve of UFV’s 50^th Anniversary, the special event is a celebration of the university’s vibrant spirit and deep-rooted connections within the Abbotsford community.

The theme of the night is UFV, with attendees encouraged to attend dressed in UFV green, to show community pride and support for the institution. The evening event will bring together students, alumni, faculty, staff, donors, and the larger Abbotsford community for a memorable and exciting experience. UFV Night promises to be an evening of fun and community spirit. Attendees will enjoy thrilling hockey action, special UFV-themed promotions, and the opportunity to connect with fellow UFV supporters and community members.

As a cornerstone of the Abbotsford community, UFV serves as a key post-secondary education hub in the Fraser Valley. The event will highlight the strong connection between the Abbotsford Canucks and UFV; additionally, the Abbotsford Centre, the Canucks’ home ice, is located adjacent to UFV’s campus, further strengthening the ties between the two.
