There are many ways to give

Cash, credit card, or cheque: Please make cheques payable to The University of the Fraser Valley. To pay by credit card, visit Give Online.

Stocks, bonds, securities or other bank/broker-controlled options: Take advantage of favourable tax conditions on capital gains. Gifts of stock can be made throughout the year, over the course of several years or as part of your estate planning.

Recurring or monthly giving: How you give is up to you, whether by cash, cheque, credit card, or direct withdrawal from your account. You may designate your funds toward the project of your choice. By year’s end, you will have made a significant commitment to UFV.

Gift-in-kind: This is a gift of physical property or a non-cash gift that is also tax receiptable. This might be something we would otherwise have to purchase, from glassware for our chemistry program to scrap steel for welding. Your gift-in-kind can have an enormous impact on the quality of our students’ education.

Planned giving: This can be a bequest in a will, by naming UFV in an annuity, life insurance policy, or similar financial product, or by identifying UFV as a recipient of a trust. Planned giving allows you the time to incorporate the university into your estate affairs at your convenience.

Sponsor a UFV activity or event: Corporations are welcome to provide sponsorship for any number of events and will be recognized meaningfully, allowing maximum exposure to our students and staff.
